Music has been a major part of my life since I was a little girl. From age eight until fifteen I played the piano. I would have continued, but finances became limited and I quit for a year. I picked it up a year later, only to stop because of college. I do dapple a bit every now and then, and hope one day I will be able to take lessons again.
But moving on from my musical background, I have always loved listening to music. It is part of my day. There is not a day when I am not listening to music of some sort. I especially find that it is relaxing and soothing when taking my cup of tea.
My all time favorites are listening to harp, piano, orchestra and /or vocal music. A few recommendations that I have are listening “harp” album. This album features gorgeous harp music that will sure be relaxing and reviving. Another favorite is Ligonier Ministries, new album, “Glory to the Holy One” I received this album as a graduation present from some dear friends, and I absolutely love it. Both albums mentioned are available for free on Spotify, so I would encourage you to check them out. You won’t be disappointed.
I embolden you to explore classical music. Awaken your senses. You may be surprised at the scope and variety there is to this genre of music. You may even find a new favorite.
Happy listening!
