In today’s post I will be sharing some of my favorite teas that my sister and I have been enjoying in October.
First up is Green Peppermint tea
This is the tea that my sister wanted to try. It is nearly the same as Green Mint Tea, that I reviewed previously. However there are a few subtle differences. This tea has more of a minty flavor, almost the same as mint toothpaste, but more tasty obviously ;). I would drink this tea right before bed as it was a very relaxing tea. So if you are wanting some more variety to just simple green tea, then try mint flavors. Also, in the comings weeks I am going to be trying Green Ginger Tea, which I have been wanted to try for ages. So stay tuned.
Next up is Oolong Tea.
I have always wanted to try this tea, as I heard it is good if you feel tired or sluggish. So when I found out that it was available at a nearby store, I immediately went out and got it. I love the rich, bold flavor of this tea. It is a little bit on the weak side of coffee. I do like the smell of coffee, but don’t like the strong taste. So if you do like the smell of coffee, but can’t drink coffee because it is too strong, unless you dump a ton of sugar and cream into it, then this is the tea for you. It is also a very satisfying tea. When I was tired or just couldn’t get moving, I would make this tea, and it would help immensely to get going on that long to-do list. This is the tea if you need an healthy energy rush, especially during this busy holiday season.
Alright, that is all for this month. I do hope to try more teas, as there are so many that sound wonderful, in the coming weeks.
Au revoir for now,
Alyssa
