New Ways to Drink Tea
Spray Tea
Everyone love a good cup of tea, but one British drinker has come up with an unusual way to brew it, thus the name spray tea. Spray tea is tea sprayed into a cup from an aerosol can. The company name, “No more Tea Bags” is a pre-brewed tea that drinkers squirt a small amount of the concentrated tea into a cup. then add hot water and milk if desired.
However this new method of brewing tea is not without its controversy, with some British tea drinkers. Some even going to twitter and jokingly labeling it “evil” or #teaheresy.
Bubble tea
Bubble tea is a Taiwanese drink which was invented in the 1980’s. Many bubble tea recipes contains a tea based which is mixed or shaken with fruit or milk, to which chewy topioca balls or fruit jellies are often added. Ice-blended versions of bubble tea have a more slushy consistency. The real fun with this drink is the chewy topioca balls which come in a variety of flavors and consistencies.
Beauty
Green Tea Lip Balm
If you are an avid green tea drinker as myself, then you will love that you can hydrate your lips with this tea. The green tea lip balm is sold by a well known Kyoto tea maker Gion Tsujiri and contains premium matcha green tea called Kento No Mukashi, which translates, “Looking but to the fountain of an ancient capital city.”
The lip balm also has seed oil from the Camellia oleifera plant, which makes the lip balm have a rich smooth texture that you would expect in a lip balm. The color of this blam is an attractive green, much like the color of Matcha and also has a subtle matcha tea fragrance.
Unfortunately, this lip balm is only available in Tokyo, but you can buy green tea lip balm at any health food store and online, especially on Amazon.
